Journey details
Begin in San Pedro de Atacama with a shared transfer to the Hito Cajón border. After immigration procedures, continue in a private 4x4 through the southern lagoons, the Dalí Desert, Polques hot springs, Sol de Mañana, Laguna Colorada and the Siloli Desert. Dedicate the second day to Salar de Uyuni, with a visit to Colchani and lunch on the salt flat. The following day brings Andean communities, rock formations and a traditional lunch in Alota. Return to San Pedro de Atacama on day four. This semi-luxury expedition includes three nights in private rooms with private bathrooms. Visits and hotels are subject to operational conditions and availability.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Southern Lagoons and the Dalí Desert: Pick-up from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama and shared transfer to the Hito Cajón border. After immigration procedures, change to a private 4x4 to visit Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, the Dalí Desert and Polques hot springs, where bathing is optional. Following a picnic-style lunch, continue through Sol de Mañana, Laguna Colorada, the Stone Tree and the Siloli Desert. Overnight in a private en-suite room at Kachi Salt. Day 2 – Salar de Uyuni: After breakfast, travel to Salar de Uyuni. Visit Colchani and its salt-processing workshops before exploring the salt sculptures, Plaza de las Banderas and the Playa Blanca salt hotel museum. Lunch is served on the salt flat with a table setup. If conditions allow, stay to enjoy the changing light toward sunset. Overnight in a private en-suite room at Kachi Salt. Day 3 – Andean Communities and Rock Formations: Head southwest after breakfast, stopping in San Cristóbal and visiting the Train Cemetery, the Valley of Rocks and Villamar. Enjoy a traditional lunch at Doña Nancy’s home in Alota. In the afternoon, continue to Laguna Capina before arriving at Daydreams Uyuni for the night in a private en-suite room. Day 4 – Return to San Pedro de Atacama: After an early breakfast, travel toward Hito Cajón for border procedures. Continue by shared transport to San Pedro de Atacama.
Recommendations for your trip
Check the documents required to enter Bolivia and return to Chile according to your nationality and immigration status. Carry 400 Bolivianos in cash per person for entrance fees and personal expenses; entrance fees are not included in the tour price. Bring warm layered clothing, comfortable shoes, sun protection and a swimsuit if you wish to bathe at Polques. Allow time to acclimatize before traveling through high-altitude areas. Tell us about food allergies or dietary restrictions before departure, and confirm luggage space when booking.
