This private full-day tour takes you deep into the remote Andean highlands, reaching landscapes at approximately 4,500 meters above sea level. Traveling in a private vehicle with your dedicated guide, you will ascend from San Pedro toward the Licancabur viewpoint, where we enjoy breakfast surrounded by volcanoes and wide desert views. We then continue to the Quepiaco River wetland, where water, native vegetation and local wildlife contrast with the arid mountains. The route leads to Monjes de la Pacana, enormous volcanic rock formations sculpted by wind and erosion. Later, we explore the Quisquiro Salt Flat, Laguna Negra and the Aguas Calientes sector before enjoying lunch and returning to San Pedro. The private format provides a more comfortable pace, personalized attention and more time for photography and observation, subject to weather and operational conditions. Price per private reservation, valid for up to 4 passengers. This route currently does not require an entrance fee.

Recommendations for your trip
Bring warm layered clothing, including a thermal base layer, fleece or warm mid-layer and a windproof jacket. Also bring a hat, gloves, comfortable closed shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and at least 1.5 liters of water per person. This tour reaches approximately 4,500 meters above sea level, so prior acclimatization is recommended. Avoid alcohol the night before, have a light dinner and inform us in advance of any relevant medical condition.
