After time to enjoy the water and take photos, we continue to the Ojos del Salar, two freshwater formations surrounded by the vast salt flat. The final stop is Tebinquinche Lagoon, where we take a gentle walk and admire the reflections of the Andes and volcanoes over the water. FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the shared and semi-private Cejar Lagoon tour?
The semi-private tour has a smaller group size, with a maximum of 8 travelers. This allows for a more comfortable pace, more personalized attention from the guide and a quieter experience at the lagoons.
Is the entrance fee to Cejar Lagoon included?
If you book directly through the website, the entrance fee is not included, because the ticket type may vary depending on each passenger. If you request a quote through our bot or with a Molantur travel advisor, entrance fees are included in the final quote and managed by Molantur.
Can I swim in Cejar Lagoon?
Yes. The tour includes time to enter the salty water and float. Because of the high salinity, we recommend avoiding contact with your eyes and not shaving on the same day to prevent skin irritation.
Is the Cejar Lagoon tour physically demanding?
No, it is a low-difficulty tour. It includes short walks and time near the lagoons. The main activity is floating in salty water, so no swimming experience is required.
Is Cejar Lagoon open every day?
No. Cejar Lagoon is closed on Tuesdays. If your itinerary includes a Tuesday, we can help you choose another afternoon tour or adjust the order of your program.
