Purilibre PM (Shared)
Enjoy an afternoon trek through Puritama Canyon, surrounded by native vegetation, rocky desert landscapes and time to relax in naturally warm river pools.

Journey details
We will pick you up at your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama and travel toward Puritama Canyon, a natural area where desert landscapes, native vegetation and rocky formations reveal a quieter side of the Atacama highlands. This afternoon experience combines light trekking with time to relax by the Puritama River, whose waters are naturally warmed by geothermal activity. The trail descends gradually toward the river, passing through cacti, native plants and canyon scenery before reaching the natural pools. Once there, you will have time to bathe, rest and enjoy the surroundings before walking back to the vehicle. A snack is included during the experience. This route currently does not require an entrance fee.
